OMG! OMG! OMG!

Cover to October's Action Comics #894.

So, the rumors of the Vertigo characters returning to the DC Universe proper are true.

More importantly, it's being written by Paul Cornell, the writer who had Doctor Doom and Dracula standing on the moon, debating which parts of Earth each would take. Oh, comics, it's like I love you again!

Wow, I hadn't heard that rumour! One of the ultimate geeky teamups I always wanted to see was John Constantine and (the original) Trickster getting together for some bizzare reason and talking about how they both beat the devil. That would've made me so happy :)

Have you been reading Madame Xanadu? There's a bunch of DCU types running around: J'onn Jonzz, Phantom Stranger among them...

I get the impression that they will make cross overs more story dependant for these kinds of things.

I still think Vertigo is doing a soft transition of its characters back into the idea of a shared universe.

The current Hellblazer storyline has him team with Shade, The Changing Man
